Having photographed couples and families for over a decade, I've learned that the best photographs of the purest emotions come when everyone feels comfortable - including me. That's why, I always bring a positive and intentional energy to every situation. And I use my natural ability to adapt to any situation and need to ensure you can relax and get lost in the moment.

You'll know, within the first five minutes of talking with me, that I don't put on airs. I will always be my genuine self in a way that encourages you and everyone involved to be themselves too. Ultimately, giving you the candid and genuine moments you want to have.
Like my photographs, I bring a positive, happy, and vibrant energy to your experience. I always find the bright side in the most stressful of moments, and see it as my job to make sure the level of joy doesn't drop. From preparing your timeline, so you don't feel rushed to connecting over coffee to review final details, I'll genuinely feel like a friend long before your day and long after too.

When you look back at your photographs, you want to look and feel like yourself. As a photographer whose captured hundreds of couples and families that have gone from complete strangers to best friends, I promise you will. Using an engagement session or pre-wedding chats, we'll get to know each other more and create a natural comfort together.
Then, when it's time to step in front of the camera, rather than posing you in awkward positions, I'll guide you with prompts that allow your dynamic together to naturally unfold. So much so, that when we're done you'll leave feeling relaxed and excited to see the final swoon-worthy images.

Rather than being overwhelmed by family dynamics or limited time, I know how to read the room to ensure you are having an incredible experience, and your loved ones are too. That's because, I know how to naturally connect with family and pay attention to everyone's needs.
Between my years of experience as a wedding planner - prior to photography, and being a mother of 3 rambunctious boys, there isn't a situation I can't handle. I know how to intuitively adapt to every person's emotional state throughout your day, and help create an environment where everyone is having the time of their lives.

Personally experiencing loss and love has shaped the way I capture your day. Rather than just photographing the beautiful and tangible details, I focus on the people and the moments amongst those details.
Rather than only capturing portraits of you and your grandparents, for example, I know you're going to want the candid and unscripted moments too. Holding each other's hands, exchanging heartfelt hugs, and the tears of joy you can't get back any other way. Knowing the value of these pictures firsthand is a gift I always keep top of mind. And it's those types of images and moments I capture for you with intention.
