spin me round

tis the season for all things love, y’all! Candy hearts, teddy bears, and diamond rings! With diamond rings and boys on one knee, engagement announcements are popping up all over the place this time of year! Over the last few years, shooting engage

ment sessions have become one of my most favorite sessions to shoot! They seriously are just way too fun! I mean who wouldn’t want want to spend an afternoon tromping around laughing, having fun, being in love and having images to remember the day {and engagement} by?!? Ok…perhaps a few guys out there aren’t impressed. Telling a guy he’s going to have pictures taken is probably something they place in the same category as going shopping. Well for the record…I had yet to encounter a guy who still feels that way by the time the session is a wrap!

Case in point….Teryn and Gareth’s session has seriously been one of my favorites to date! Now Gareth was totally on board before the session even even began. Why? He knew his shoot was taking place in a record shop! For Gareth, a music lover and Teryn, being quite artsy her self {dancer and hair stylist}…this session fit them perfectly!! Between the vinyls, vintage suitcase speakers, mustache mugs, bight walls, and crashing waves…we probably could have gone for another spin!
